Our flagship wine. Delicate nose of fresh red fruit with accents of honeysuckle, violet and a hint of mint. The wine is framed by refined tannins and lively acidity which supports its long and elegant finish of plum and toffee. This bright wine will pair wonderfully with food in its youth and will continue to develop in the bottle for 7-10 years.

2012 De Ponte Cellars Lonesome Rock Ranch Pinot Noir
555 cases produced
Produced similarly to the Dundee Hills label, this Pinot is 100% from our LRR Vineyard approximately 18 miles west of the winery, towards the Oregon Coast. Deep garnet in color, the Lonesome Rock shows a nose rich of fresh plum and spiced vanilla with hints of floral notes. On the palate the wine is plush and pure, showing fresh dark berries and offering great depth and roundness with balanced tannins. Drink now or cellar for 6-8 years.

2012 De Ponte Cellars 'Estate' Pinot Noir

The Estate label is consistently our most Burgundian - always focused, refined and elegant. Only 12 barrels were produced in 2012, aged in 50% new French oak for 14 months.
Deep purple in color, the Estate shows notes of mocha and candied cherry on the nose. Soft and elegant tannins lead to the overall softness of this wine. Baking spices are complimented by ripe fruits, leaving a long lasting impression on the finish.
Cellar for 8-10 years.

Our limited 10 barrel production of Baldwin Family Reserve is the must have for the consummate De Ponte collector. Aged in 80% new French oak for 14 months, this beautifully structured Pinot will drink for the next 10 + years. Inky colored in the glass, the Baldwin Family Reserve shows notes of chocolate and raspberry on the nose. While showing impressive tannins, they are soft and round lending to the overall juicy quality of the wine. Rich spice and dark fruits are robust on the palate, followed by a long and graceful finish. Cellar for 10-12 years.
