De Ponte Cellars Winery location is located in the heart of the Dundee Hills.

Our tasting room is open 7 days a week from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A tasting fee of $15 includes a sampling of 5 of our current releases.

2015 Sparkling Melon de Bourgogne - Methode Traditionnelle

Our first methode traditionnelle sparkling Melon de Bourgogne has a fresh nose of apricot, peach and notes of brioche – all while keeping its traditional varietal essence and minerality. The palate is clean and bright with hints of Meyer lemon conserve. The bubbles are fine & persistent in the glass. This wine is a perfect party popper.

2016 DFB Melon de Bourgogne

The 2016 Melon de Bourgogne has a nose of tropical fruit, delicate apple blossom with hints of candied citrus and peppermint. Bright and very fresh on the palate it shows notes of honeydew melon and fresh kiwi. Culminating with hints of fresh pineapple, the finish is crisp, lively and refreshing.

2017 Rose of Pinot Noir

Gorgeous, pale salmon in color, this saignée rosé of Pinot Noir has an intriguing nose of fresh blackberry, honeysuckle and hints of minerality. It is lovely and bright on the palate, offering notes of ruby red grapefruit on the clean, precise finish. The perfect patio wine! 


2016 Clay Hill Pinot Noir

The 2016 Clay Hill is rich burgundy in color and has a vibrant, fresh fruited nose and palate. With great drinkability at a young age, this wine will not be in our cellar long. The perfect everyday wine at an everyday price.

2015 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

Aromas of fresh red raspberries, rose petal and thyme. Bright, fresh and with nice acidity and balance. Hints of cranberry and minerality – this wine has wonderful energy and a long, refined finish. Drink now or cellar 5-8 years.

2014 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

Intense black cherry color in the glass; the nose has rich notes of cassis and fresh spring flowers. Freshly baked strawberry pie mingles with a touch of vanilla on the palate, showing velvety texture and bright, balanced acidity. Round and smooth, the use of french oak barrels adds an elegant and refined tannin. Absolutely delightful now or cellar through 2020.

2013 Lonesome Rock Ranch Pinot Noir

Inky colored in the glass, the 2013 LRR expresses dark cherry with earthy mineral notes on the nose. Dark fruits and spice carry this wine on the palate from start to finish – elegant and mineral rich. Easy to enjoy now or cellar for 5-8 years.

2014 Lonesome Rock Ranch Pinot Noir

Medium garnet in color; the nose offers ripe fruit with an herbal tint of fresh mint and thyme. With medium body and lovely acidity, the palate carries flavors of black cherry and licorice. The steady, integrated tannins persist in a long finish that lifts the ripe, sweet fruit. This well-balanced wine will drink well now through 2020.

2014 Estate Pinot Noir

Intense depth in color; complex aromas of dark and spicy fruit mingle with a toasty minerality. The elegant palate shows pomegranate and red current wrapped with milk caramel. This wine, with its vibrant acidity and balanced tannin, has a seductive personality that will continue to show its many layers through 2026.

2015 Baldwin Family Reserve Pinot Noir

Nose of French vanilla, mocha and toffee mingles with notes of blackberry and plum. A luscious, concentrated body yields bright acidity and flavors of baking spice and peppercorn. The finish is supported by big, smooth tannins and a persistent finish. Drink thru 2028.

2010 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

The 2010 has been hard to hold back (staff favorite) but it was well worth the wait. Notes of cranberry and candied cherry on the nose that mingle with tobacco, vanilla and a touch of leather. Soft and silky on the palate with bright red fruits, baking spice and a perfect, lingering acidity. This wine exemplifies exactly what we love about cooler growing seasons. Enjoy now or cellar another 3-5 years, easily.
