De Ponte Cellars Winery location is located in the heart of the Dundee Hills.
Our tasting room is open 7 days a week from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A tasting fee of $15 includes a sampling of 4 of our current releases.

This melon has a delicate nose of pear, apple and accents of citrus with a touch of rosewood and almond. Richly textured with minerality and a candied lemon character, culminating in a mouthwatering finish. The 2014 Melon de Bourgogne is bright, pure and appealing - ready for sun and seafood.
Pale salmon in color, it has floral aromas of peony and rose accentuated by a touch of fresh strawberry and white tea. Nicely balanced, our 2015 rose has bright freshness with a finish of grapefruit zest. A refreshing wine that is the perfect companion to your summer BBQ menu.
The 2014 Clay Hill is inky in color and has a dark fruited nose and palate. With great drinkability at a young age, this wine will not be in our cellar long. The perfect everyday wine at an everyday price.
A onetime bottling from De Ponte, the 2011 Halsey Pinot Noir blend is comprised exclusively from our De Ponte Estate vineyard. It is an elegant light bodied Pinot- fresh and vibrant with raspberry and cherry flavors along with a classic mushroom earthy characteristic.
Delightfully complex nose of fresh cherry and floral aromas of roses and wisteria that is complimented by accents of clove, cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, jellied dark berries and spices are framed by well-defined tannins. The lively acidity contributes to an appealing finish. This wine will improve over the next few years. Drink now or through 2019.
Delicate nose of fresh red fruit with accents of honeysuckle, violet and a hint of mint. The wine is framed by refined tannins and lively acidity which supports its long and elegant finish of plum and toffee. This bright wine will pair wonderfully with food in its youth and will continue to develop in the bottle for 6-8 years.
Deep garnet in color, the Lonesome Rock shows a nose rich of fresh plum and spiced vanilla with hints of floral notes. On the palate the wine is plush and pure, showing fresh dark berries and offering great depth and roundness with balanced tannins. Drink now or cellar for 6-8 years.
Deep purple in color, the Estate shows notes of mocha and candied cherry on the nose. Soft and elegant tannins lead to the overall softness of this wine. Baking spices are complimented by ripe fruits, leaving a long lasting impression on the finish. Cellar for 8-10 years.
Intense nose of dark cherry and plum with accents of spiced wood. Balance and roundness on the palate which is supported by fine tannins and elongated finish. Flavors of coffee and dark chocolate linger on the palate. Drink now or cellar for 4-8 years.
Attractive nose of cherry with notes of mocha, pine and a hint of thyme. It shows impressive balance, with present but well integrated tannins, the wine shows great depth and succulent flavors. With a bright, juicy finish of flowers, spices and caramel this wine will without a doubt gain even more complexity over the next decade.
Our newest Library re-release is finally here! The 2009 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir has aged gracefully after over 5 years in the bottle. The rich and intense fruit gives way to soft, round tannins and great length on the palate. This is the wine Scott and Rae Baldwin are enjoying now at their table with friends – you should too!
